    Try to measure on the voltage regulator that pages right after the micro usb plug, that it is the one that has gone?
    Use less electricity, eg 3v and targets.
    You may also want to change the power cable, with micro usb.

    Yes the foil / plastic has been removed so it is not that side in the way of the light,
    The problem is well in the accuracy of the material, because even though it is laser cut, 1/10 mm inaccuracy is very much in the holes that the led should light up through?
    It is fascinating that you can cut so thinly via laser technique, but since it is collected by a fine plus 2 boad, inaccuracies may well arise.
    Have tried to slow down the display but it has not helped and they are just as difficult to remove again after it is inserted.
